JAMAICA HS DEAN BUSTED FOR DWI WITH KID IN CAR

A boozed-up dean at Jamaica High School in Queens was busted today for driving at almost twice the legal limit for alcohol with her 2-year-old daughter sitting in the back seat, sources told The Post.

Catherine Wright, 40, was arrested following a collision with another car on the Southern State Parkway shortly before 1 a.m. near Valley Stream, LI.

The educator blew a .20 on a Breathalyzer test, according to the source, which is more than double the legal limit of .08.

The Franklin Square woman was arraigned on charges of aggravated DWI and endangering the welfare of a child today

in the Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead.

A Department of Education spokeswoman confirmed that Wright worked at the Queens high school but refused to specify her position.

Law-enforcement sources and a school source confirmed separately to The Post that Wright was a dean at the school.

The DOE said that they are planning to reassign her while the charges are pending.
