TEACHERS TO GRADE KLEIN

What’s good for the goose is good for the chancellor.

The United Federation of Teachers is turning the tables on the Department of Education’s culture of accountability by conducting a review of Schools Chancellor Joel Klein.

The union’s nearly 100,000 members are being asked to fill out a 15-question anonymous survey.

The results will be published in the union’s newspaper.

“It is both logical that just as we are evaluated, the performance of the Department of Education and our schools chancellor be evaluated as well,” said UFT President Randi Weingarten.
