Christie Brinkley’s lawyers may have one more weapon in their attempt to paint her wayward hubby as a callous cad – a married, 31-year-old fitness model with whom he had a relationship and then dumped, leaving her marriage in tatters, sources told The Post.
Brinkley’s hubby, Peter Cook, met and pursued the woman, Carri Lyn Ciamarra of Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, in early 2007, while she was married to Robert Ciamarra, sources said.

The relationship was flaunted around Cook’s Hamptons stamping grounds, and the pair appeared at several functions together, the sources said.
Ciamarra, who has a young son with her husband, was unable to keep the relationship secret from her spouse, and eventually left him for Cook, sources said.
But the move apparently was a turnoff for Cook. He got cold feet and sent Ciamarra packing in August 2007, sources said.
“She was devastated,” said a close friend. “She’s still devastated. He led her on, he strung her along and then, boom.”
Ciamarra has been subpoenaed by Brinkley’s lawyers and will testify in her and Cook’s divorce trial, set to start Wednesday, the sources said.
Ciamarra’s lawyer, Anthony Mangone, would only confirm that his client had a “friendly relationship” with Cook that ended in August 2007.
As for Ciamarra, she only said: “I first came to know Peter Cook in February 2007 after meeting him in New York City. The nature of that relationship is a private matter.”
Ciamarra eventually reunited with her husband, sources said.
Brinkley’s lawyer, Robert Cohen, subpoenaed Ciamarra in order to portray Cook as an incorrigible cad who has left a trail of home wreckage, sources said.
But Mangone questioned the need to drag Ciamarra into court, arguing Cook had separated from Brinkley by the time they started their relationship.
Brinkley had booted Cook after learning of his earlier affair with then-teenager Diana Bianchi.
Sources said Ciamarra wants no part of the messy divorce case in light of her own domestic struggles.
“She is a hardworking mother and a successful model,” Mangone said. “She is not going to let Peter Cook or Christie Brinkley stop her from building on what she has already accomplished.”
A source from Cook’s camp said: “He had no idea she was married. He’s only finding out now.”
Mangone responded: “Peter Cook has his own credibility issues. That’s why he’s in the position he’s in today.”
