THE notion of a “Sopranos” movie officially sleeps with the fishes.
“I spoke to [‘Sopranos’ creator] David Chase about it a month ago, and he said no,” director/actor Peter Bogdanovich told TV critics this week.
“He said he thought about it, and he can’t figure out a way to do it,” Bogdanovich said.
“So I don’t think it will ever happen. I don’t think you can ever say never, but my hunch is it won’t happen.”
Bogdanovich appeared on “The Sopranos” every now and then as Dr. Elliot Kupferberg, the shrink to Tony’s shrink, Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco).
