MAYOR’S ‘LAST MEAL’ IS A KILLER

MINNEAPOLIS – It’s a meal that Elvis would have loved.

The normally health-conscious Mayor Bloomberg yesterday revealed what he’d like for a last meal – and it had a close resemblance to the King’s favorite dish.

“I always said if I had one breakfast to eat before I die, it would be Wonder Bread toasted, with Skippy Super Chunky melted on it, slices of overripe banana and fresh crisp bacon,” said Bloomberg, who is known for his city ban on trans fats.

“Probably my cardiologist wouldn’t like it. But if it’s my last meal, who cares?”

Elvis was known to have a thing for peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but hold the bacon.

The issue came up when the mayor appeared on a radio show with Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, and interrupted a discussion about why Philly cheesesteaks are so delicious.
