GRANNY-MUGGER STRIKES AGAIN!

Dramatic video footage shows a monster mugging an 85-year-old Brooklyn granny – the latest of at least 11 elderly victims to be targeted by the robber this summer.

The footage, released by cops yesterday, shows the man choking Lillian France into unconsciousness as she desperately flails her arms in the elevator of a Prospect Heights apartment building Thursday night.

France was going to visit a cousin and had just made a withdrawal from a bank when she was attacked.

The mugger – who may have followed her from the bank – escaped with the $900 she was carrying, police said.

When the thug was finished with France, he let her drop to the ground like a rag doll, police said.

Then he ran away.

France is recovering at Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital.

Cops are offering a reward of up to $12,000 for information leading to the arrest of the perp, who is about 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds. He was wearing glasses, a cap with a visor, a gray T-shirt with white lettering and dark pants.

At 6:50 p.m. Thursday, he entered the building at 1015 Washington Ave. and pressed the elevator button before France arrived.

When she got into the elevator, he followed her in and pressed the button for the fifth floor.

When the elevator reached the floor, the suspect pounced.

He grabbed her from behind and put her in a chokehold.

As she flailed her arms and legs, the heartless thug squeezed until she lost consciousness, the video shows.

Her hat fell to the ground and lay at the feet of her limp body. The fiend fled with her cash.

The thug is suspected of committing 11 other attacks in the 70th and 71st precincts in Kensington and Flatbush.

Only one of his victims – from whom he swiped even a Bible along with cash – was not elderly. She is 54 years old.

Also, all of the victims except one, a 67-year-old man, were women.
