The brides wore white – and wide smiles.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are on the cover of the upcoming People magazine, arm and arm in Zac Posen designs (Ellen in a pantsuit, Portia in a dress), celebrating their wedding Saturday.
The couple sat on floor pillows for the intimate at-home ceremony in front of 19 of their closest friends and relatives and exchanged personal vows.
Rossi, 35, in the pair’s exclusive interview with People, said, “The love we felt from the people surrounding us, and the love we have for each, other made it the most beautiful and emotional day.”
“I’m the luckiest girl in the world,” said DeGeneres, 50. “She’s now officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she’ll cook and clean for me.”
The wedding was made possible by a California Supreme Court ruling declaring a ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional.
