DUO SPRAY-CANNED

Two of New York’s most notorious graffiti vandals – fresh off a cross-European spray-paint “tour” – have been busted for allegedly tagging MTA trains going back to 2005, officials said yesterday.

Jim Clay Harper, 23, and Danielle Bremner, 26, were arrested this week in New York and Chicago, respectively. Harper, a Chicago native, was pinched at JFK Airport, while New Yorker Bremner was picked up at O’Hare International.

Police sources told The Post that a search warrant was executed at Bremner’s apartment earlier this summer, prompting her family to tip off the accused Bonnie and Clyde of graffiti as they were tagging trains across Europe.

Harper and Bremner intended to throw off authorities by arriving in their opposite cities of residence, sources said.

Harper was arraigned Wednesday in Manhattan and released without bail, while Bremner, who attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, was still locked up in Chicago yesterday awaiting extradition to New York.

A Manhattan grand jury had indicted Harper for felony criminal mischief and burglary for a graffiti attack on Feb. 21, 2006, court records show.

A grand jury in Manhattan has also indicted Bremner on similar charges, police sources said, and cops are looking at both of them for train vandalism in all five boroughs between February 2005 and this past April.

The New York graffiti damage totaled between $100,000 and $200,000, cops said, and Bremner and Harper could each be sent to prison for up to seven years.

“I’ve got to commend the police, they have limited resources, but they still managed to track these two criminals down. It sends a strong message that this won’t tolerated,” said Councilman Peter Vallone (D-Queens), a longtime anti-graffiti crusader.

“I’ve been involved with this for a long time, and I have never heard of an effort like this.”

Bremner’s mom in Queens declined to answer questions about her daughter. Harper’s lawyer could not be reached for comment.

The pair is also wanted for graffiti attacks on trains in London, Madrid, Frankfurt and Hamburg, said New York police sources.

Bremner and Harper tagged across Europe under the monikers “Ether” and “Dani.” Bremner is also wanted for questioning for graffiti in Boston and Pittsburgh.

Bremner has also tagged under the name “Utah,” while Harper runs with the MUL, or Made U Look, graffiti crew, police said.
