‘Puff’ piece Big news on the “Power puff Girls” front.

The classic Cartoon Net work series will mark its 10th anniversary early next year with a 6-disc DVD release, “The Complete Powerpuff Girls Anniversary Collector’s Set” (Jan. 20) featuring all 78 episodes (and extras includ ing a documentary on series creator Craig McCracken).

Cartoon Network will also air a day-long “Powerfuff” tribute showcasing its best episodes – followed by the TV premiere of a new ani mated special (written by McCracken).

“Nip/Tuck” stars Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh report for work today to begin filming Season 9 – but they’re seeking bigger pay checks.

Sources say McMahon (Troy) and Walsh (McNa mara), who each earn $250,000-per-episode, are seeking $300,000-per-episode for the 19-episode Season 9 – which likely won’t air until 2010 or 2011.

(The rest of the Season 8 episodes shot earlier this year premiere in January.)

FX is said to be balking at their demands, but talks are apparently ongoing.

Bob McGowan, who han dles McMahon and Walsh, had no comment late Friday.

Last, but not least:

* Mario Lopez premieres as host of “Extra” tonight (7 p.m./Ch. 4). America exhales. * Tomorrow on DVD: “Danc ing with the Stars: Latin Cardio Dance.” The new “Dancing” season begins Sept. 22 on ABC.

* That was Camille Guaty (ABC’s upcoming “Cupid”) with former “Las Vegas” co- star Molly Sims at the Victo ria’s Secret Supermodel Obes ssions suite at Fashion Week.

* The Africa Channel will begin airing Thursday on Time Warner Cable.

* Happy birthday to Jill Hudson Bell (Fox).
