A cancer-stricken Hollywood wardrobe maven and her son were found dead in her Gramercy apartment yesterday in an apparent murder-suicide.
Arlene Coffey, 73 – the widow of well-known cinematographer Joseph Coffey – was found by a relative next to her son, David, 53, cops said. A low-caliber gun with two shell casings was recovered by the bodies.
Sources said the son may have been distraught over his mother’s illness and killed her before himself.
