‘BEATEN’ SHEA GUY BEATS RAP

A New Jersey man who claims he was beaten up by security guards during a Billy Joel concert at Shea Stadium and then slapped with a summons for trespassing won dismissal of his case yesterday.

When Bryan Siegel, 25, showed up in Queens Criminal Court, instead of facing a judge, he was given a form stating that the NYPD failed to file legal paperwork in his case. “Obviously, I’m glad the charges have been dismissed,” said the NBC video editor. “I’m just upset. It was an outrageous, terrible incident. And I look forward to pursuing justice.”

Siegel, who was with his wife at the July 18 concert, said he still plans a suit against the stadium’s security guards and the city for what his lawyer described as a false arrest.
