JAILED IN ID MISTAKE

A Massachusetts man with the same name and birthday as a Bronx cabby wanted on weapons charges was sprung from jail yesterday after spending more than two weeks behind bars.

Queens Supreme Court Justice James Griffin released Jerry Santiago, 31, after taking a careful look at a picture of the suspect, described as 6-foot-1 and 245 pounds, and at the man before him – who stood 5-foot-8 and weighed less than 200.

“The photo I have somewhat resembles you, but I’m satisfied it’s not you,” the judge said.

Santiago said he may be a victim of identity theft, noting that someone stole his wallet in Puerto Rico more than a year ago.
