BAD HAIR DAY AT ABERCROMBIE

Blondes don’t have any fun working at Abercrombie & Fitch if they also happen to be black, according to a $1 million lawsuit.

Former Abercrombie saleswoman Dulzia Burchette, who is black, claims she was fired from the clothier’s Fifth Avenue store after a white supervisor demanded she remove blond highlights from her hair. When Burchette asked if she could instead go all-blond, the supervisor allegedly told her, “You can’t have blond hair. It is not natural.”

Abercrombie general counsel David Cupps said the company’s relationship with Burchette was “completely faithful” to its “longstanding commitment to fostering diversity and inclusiveness.”
