POLISH ‘FRIEND’

LISA Kudrow is looking for her friends – in Poland.

The former “Friends” star was spotted yesterday arriving in Gdansk to work on her new documentary show for NBC, “Who Do You Think You Are?

The show, which traces and illustrates the ancestry of celebrities, is based on a popular BBC edition that is among the most popular shows in the UK.

Kudrow is the executive producer of the US version of the show and it was not clear if she will appear on camera. However, her father is of Polish descent.

The show is expected to appear as a part of NBC’s lineup sometime next year.

Yesterday, an NBC spokeswoman said Kudrow’s appearance on the show, “has yet to be determined.”

Each episode of the “Who Do You Think You Are?” takes viewers on an “emotional and personal journey” tracing the family history of some of America’s best-known celebrities, according to production materials.

This would be Kudrow’s second television show after “Friends” ended in 2004.

In 2005, she briefly starred in a HBO comedy/tragedy called “The Comeback.”
