THE DEAD-END KID

IF you, like I, have been waiting for a movie with a gay- zombie sex orgy, rejoice because said event takes place in “Otto; or, Up With Dead People,” by Canadian provocateur Bruce LaBruce.

Otto (Jey Crisfar) – garbed in a filthy hoodie, smelling “like a dead mouse” and feasting on roadkill – crawls out of his grave, wanders around Berlin, experiences romantic flashbacks and gets cast in a low-budget movie called “Up With Dead People.”

But the plot – what there is of one, that is – is second to the graphic gay sex that is a LaBruce staple.

LaBruce devotees will be tickled pink; others will be perplexed and/or disgusted.

If the production values – a mix of color, black-and-white and even animation – seem shoddy, that’s because LaBruce wants it that way.

Running time: 94 minutes. Not rated (gore, gay sex). At IFC Center, Sixth Avenue and Third Street.
