‘GONE POST-AL’ JEN ‘TOONED IN ON JOLIE

Jennifer Aniston thought a Page Six cartoon “was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen” – but it turned out the joke was on her.

The Sean Delonas drawing led her to a magazine article that did not leave her laughing. In the mag, Aniston learned that Angelina Jolie had developed a schoolgirl crush on Brad Pitt long before the “Friends” star suspected anything.

In fact, while she was still married to him.

In an interview in the December issue of Vogue magazine, Aniston says she’s still cool with Brad. But she makes it clear there’s no love lost between her and her Jolie – who, she sniped, is “uncool.”

The problem was that Pitt and Jolie had taken pains to insist that they only started dating after he left Aniston in 2005.

In a January 2007 Vogue interview, Jolie claimed she would “welcome” a sit-down with Aniston. Jolie also admitted she and Pitt “just became kind of a pair” a whole year earlier than Aniston had been led to believe.

Aniston said she bought that issue only because a pal sent her the Dec. 13, 2006, Post cartoon. It showed her armed with a shotgun and reading Vogue, calling Jolie, and saying, “I decided to take you up on your offer of a ‘sit-down’ talk . . .”

In that article, Jolie gushed she so loved being with Pitt during the filming of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” so much that “I realized, God, I can’t wait to get to work.”

Aniston – who was married to and lived with Pitt during the blockbuster’s production – said of Jolie’s too-revealing admission: “That was really uncool.”

That’s because the movie was made in 2004.

Jolie said that by the end of the filming, she realized her relationship with Pitt “might mean something more.”

Aniston told Vogue: “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening.”

Still, in the new interview, she describes her divorce from Brad as “never that bad . . . I can’t even remember the darkness. I mean, in the end, we had a really amicable spilt.

“The marriage didn’t work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other.”
