LOVELORN A-ROD WRITES POETRY FOR MADONNA: REPORT

She can deny it all she wants but apparently Madonna is crazy for A-Rod.

A source told the Chicago Sun-Times that the kabbalah-worshipping Material Mom is in love with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, saying he “has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body.”

The news comes a day after Madonna’s estranged hubby, Guy Ritchie, was reunited with the couple’s sons, Rocco and David, after weeks apart. The visit was conditioned on a strict set of rules from Madonna, including a ban on TV, non-organic food, and any clothes not sent by her, according to the London Daily Mail.

The two are in the midst of a nasty divorce, battling over custody of the boys and trying to determine whether they’ll live in the U.S. with Madonna or in Britain with Ritchie.

After nearly eight years of marriage, Madonna and Ritchie announced that they were divorcing in early October after months of speculation and rumors of an affair between Rodriguez and Madonna. The two had been spotted together all over New York – at restaurants, kabbalah services and even at each other’s residences.

Rodriguez, who recently went through a divorce with his wife, Cynthia, has apparently found a connection with Madonna and her mystical religion. Cynthia has reportedly told friends that the kabbalah-loving singer had “brainwashed” her husband and that he was having an “affair of the heart” with Madonna.

For his part, Rodriguez, 33, has reportedly written love messages to Madonna, 50, that have been described as “old-fashioned love notes” according to the Sun-Times.

A-Rod’s continued presence is believed to be a major factor as to why Madonna and Ritchie couldn’t repair their marriage. To add insult to injury, son Rocco was photographed at a New York playground wearing a Yankees T-shirt just days after the split was made public, which reportedly reduced Ritchie to tears.

The A-Rod romance wouldn’t be the first time Madonna hooked up with a professional athlete. She’s been linked to both Jose Canseco and former basketball star Dennis Rodman.
