TOMORROW

Northwestern (+31/2) over MICHIGAN: Wolverine HC Rich Rodriguez needed to get past his first year at West Virginia (3-8) to get off the launching pad at Morgantown . . . and at 3-7 this season, it’s déjà vu all over again. Already bowl-bound, ‘Cats take advantage, and given QB C. J. Bacher’s projected return to action, should put on an air show in the Big House. ‘Cats (+3 1/2) drive towards warm-weather bowl game, for one unit.

SUNDAY

SEAHAWKS (+3) over Cardinals: Matt Hasselbeck’s return to QB role for Seattle gives Cat confidence to make call against ‘Zona bunch virtually-locked into NFC West title and marking time until January. ‘Hawks snatch one (+3) to assure winning home record vs. division, for one unit.

DOLPHINS/Raiders UNDER (381/2): Sixteen points in three games is no way to go through life in the NFL. Whether JaMarcus Russell makes it back at QB this week or the Raiders look to Marques Tuiasosopo, 14 points would represent an explosion. Even if RB Darren McFadden returns, he’ll serve to eat clock, as Raider drive-sustaining capabilities remain questionable. If it’s close, perhaps 27-10 (UNDER 38 1/2), for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 0-2 (minus two units): Panthers won battles on both sides of the ball (Louisville, minus one unit); Matt Ryan remains amazingly-poised first-year QB (Saints, minus one unit).

SEASON: 10-10-1 (even units).
