SUIT HAS WACKO SHEIK-ING

Michael Jackson is too frail to cross the pond and testify in a $7 million lawsuit pressed by an Arab prince, a defense lawyer for the reclusive pop star said yesterday.

Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the second son of the king of Bahrain, wants to recoup $7 million from Jackson, because the star allegedly skipped town before recording an album, inking an autobiography, and producing a stage play.

The lawsuit is being heard in London, and Jackson is too ill to make that journey, his lawyer Robert Englehart said.

“It would be unwise for him to travel,” Englehart said.

Englehart wants Jackson, who lives in Las Vegas, to testify by video

Al Khalifa’s hired gun, Bankim Thanki, scoffed at Jackson’s claim of illness.

Judge Nigel Sweeny said he wouldn’t rule until tomorrow, and would allow medical experts on both sides to keep talking, and possibly reach an agreement.
