The NYPD has deployed a task force to investigate the terrifying Easter gang-wilding in Midtown and Times Square and prevent further chaos, sources told The Post yesterday.
Detectives have been assigned from the Gang and Intelligence divisions and the Manhattan South anti-crime unit for the initiative, the sources said.
“There’s a lot of heat coming from Headquarters. God forbid there’s another incident,” a police source said.
Meanwhile, Rayvon Guice, who was arrested in the shooting of two women on West 34th Street, was ordered held on $500,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail last night.
Guice’s lawyer, Jared Rice, said he hopes his client is “not tried in the court of public opinion.”
