Car service driver shot dead

A car service driver was found shot to death in his crashed Lincoln Town Car, close to his company’s base in Queens.

Police say 62-year-old Jaroslaw Bielawski was killed with a gunshot to the head late last night in Long Island City.

Investigators say they believe a botched robbery led to the shooting. Police say the Town Car veered off the road and crashed near the entrance of a business.

Police are looking for two suspects who fled, one on foot, the other in a getaway vehicle.

Bielawski’s body was discovered across the street from Crosslands Corporate Transportation, where he worked.
