Meet a Colt: Pierre Garcon

All NFL fans know about the Colts’ big guns: Manning, Wayne, Freeney and Clark. Each day leading up to the NFL title game, The Post will introduce you to some lesser known Indy players who could have a huge impact:

Of Haitian descent, he was born in Carmel, NY, and went to High School in Green Acres, Fla. Has relatives in Haiti and spent the days before the Ravens game trying to locate them and raise funds.

He was drafted in 2008 out of Mount Union College in Ohio. Was a backup until Anthony Gonzalez suffered a knee injury in Week 1 of 2009. Moved into starting role in Week 2.

During last week’s playoff game against the Ravens, Garcon chased after Ed Reed following a Reed interception and forced a fumble. “He took my TD away. I had to get it back,” Garcon said.

Made just four catches in all of 2008, but this season Garcon had 47 receptions for 765 yards and four touchdowns
