Miley Cyrus wants her fans to cool it over her so-called lesbian kiss during a performance on a British TV talent show.
“Nothing happened. There are wayyyyyyy more important things in the world,” the 17-year-old wrote on her Web site.
Cyrus was singing her latest single “I Can’t Be Tamed” on “Britain’s Got Talent” Thursday night when she engaged in what looked like a lip lock with a female backup dancer.
But it was unclear if a Sapphic smooch ever took place because Cyrus’ tresses covered their faces.
“During my performance, I supposedly kissed a girl. I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can’t even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,” Cyrus blogged.
