Psychic predictions on $330M lottery

New Yorkers are psyched about tonight’s massive Mega Millions lottery — but not more than the city’s psychics.

Astrologers, stargazers and other prognosticators all got into the spirit yesterday — hunting for portents pointing to the winner of the $330 million jackpot, the third-biggest haul since New York joined the 40-state game in 2002.

Chris Ochun, 34, a Bronx spiritualist, predicts that a woman from New York will win — but that she’ll have to split the jackpot with “someone from out of state.”

How does he know? The seashells told him so. He reads African cowry shells and chants incantations.

The shells, formerly the homes of snails, unfortunately didn’t disclose the numbers, but he says 5, 6, 52, 55, 44 and 27 are “lucky.”

And he’s certain the winner will be a Gemini.

Susan Miller, who founded astrologyzone.com, has a good reason to believe someone will cash in tonight.

“Somebody will win because we have a partial eclipse of the sun in Capricorn, which rules big money,” she said.

She added that a winner would likely emerge because “an eclipse has incredible power — it’s like three new moons rolled into one.”

Miller said whoever picks the right numbers was probably born under the sign of Sagittarius or Gemini. But she agreed with Ochun, saying, “Gemini has an edge.”

Manhattan numerologist and astrologer Ostaro said the winner would be “a recluse, someone whose personality is very unusual.”

Meanwhile, vendors were selling tickets at the rate of $1 million an hour.

Lorraine Holmes, 75, a semiretired butcher, bought 10 tickets at Fordham Convenience in The Bronx, the same bodega that sold a winning ticket in 2009 to Jimmy Groves.

“I’ll give some of it to old people,” she said. “People tend to forget about them.”
