LOS ANGELES — Actor Colin Hanks, the eldest son of Tom Hanks, is celebrating the birth of his first child in Los Angeles, People magazine reported Thursday.
The 33-year-old and his wife Samantha Bryant welcomed their baby daughter, Olivia Jane, on Tuesday.
“The family is home and everyone’s happy and healthy,” a source close to the family told the celebrity magazine.
Colin Hanks — who starred in the now canceled TV series “The Good Guys” — and Bryant, a former publicist, were married in May 2010.
Olivia Jane is the first grandchild for Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks, 54.
He fathered Colin with his first wife, the late Samantha Lewes, and is now married to the actress Rita Wilson.
