I got wart Rx as eyedrops: suit

A Queens man is suing Walgreens for $1 million, saying the pharmacy incorrectly gave him wart remover instead of his prescribed eyedrops.

Smith Maceus had routine eye surgery in June and his doctor gave him a prescription for Durezol, which he took to be filled at the Walgreens in Elmont, LI.

The pharmacist handed Maceus Durasol solution, a wart remover, the suit claims. When he dropped the solution in his eye, he suffered grievous personal injury, according to the suit, filed in Queens Supreme Court.

Walgreens did not return calls for comment.
