BURBANK, Calif. — The multi-talented James Franco will be the man behind the curtain for Disney’s “Wizard of Oz” prequel, Deadline reported Friday.

Franco, 32, will reunite with his “Spider-Man” director Sam Raimi for the big budget film, titled “Oz: The Great And Powerful.”

He will film his scenes this summer before heading to Broadway to star in “Sweet Bird of Youth” alongside Nicole Kidman.

Franco co-hosts the 83rd annual Academy Awards this Sunday, where he is also nominated for Best Actor for his turn in “127 Hours.”
