Unhinged Charlie Sheen videotapes crazy rant where he says he wants to write a book

A gaunt-looking, chain-smoking Charlie Sheen posted an online rant where he announced he wants to publish a new book called “Apocalypse Me.”

Wearing a Yankee sweatshirt, a disheveled Sheen puffed on cigarettes and chugged from a bottle as he filmed himself talking to a colleague on speakerphone.

“We are in the middle of a movement, an odyssey of epic proportions,” Sheen said in an 11-minute video posted on UStream.tv.

Warner Bros. fired Sheen on Monday from the hit show “Two and a Half Men.”

“I’m smoking a cigarette and drinking something I won’t reveal, unless they pay me,” he said.

At one point, Sheen called the drink “a secret elixir.”

“It’s awesome. What is it? I won’t show it,” he said.

It is not known when the video was filmed or if it was after Sheen got word he had been fired.

At one point during the rant, Sheen got angry at a plane passing over his home.

“Stupid plane with noise attached,” he said. “You notice how the word hell is in helicopter.”

Sheen also said he wanted to contact Amazon.com to publish a Kindle-only book called “Apocalypse Me: The Jaws of Life.”

“We need to save trees. I love trees,” he said. “Let’s marry a tree.”

Asked by his associate if he loved his life, Sheen said, “Winning!”

On Monday, Warner Bros. Television said it had fired Sheen from the hit sitcom.

The studio that produces the CBS series said the decision was made after “careful consideration.”

Sheen’s erratic personal life had prompted Warner Bros. to suspend production on the show for the season, and Sheen in return had been waging an angry media campaign against the show’s producers.

No decision has been made on the future of the series, Warner Bros. said in a statement.

The actor, who has used TV, radio and social media to create a big megaphone for himself, was not silent for long.

In a text to The Associated Press, Sheen responded, with the F-word and “They lose,” followed by the word “Trolls.”

Asked if he planned to sue, Sheen texted back, “Big.”

As for his next move, Sheen texted, “A big one.”
