Far out, man!

A Queens middle-school drug-prevention counselor, fired after getting caught up in a federal Quaalude sting, has been harassing Department of Education higher-ups to get his job back, The Post has learned.

Former IS 266 counselor Ken Kutin was found guilty last year of possession of a controlled substance, fined $1,000 and sentenced to a year’s probation — but he apparently still wants district Superintendent Anita Saunders and other officials to hire him back.

Police sources said Saunders filed two complaints of aggravated harassment against Kutin in the past week, accusing him and his wife of calling her home as many as eight times and leaving a bitter note on her doorstep.

“Thank you for nothing, for terminating my husband, for not giving him a second chance, for ruining our lives,” the note reads, according to police sources.

The sources said none of the phone calls was deemed to be threatening.

Saunders, a longtime fixture in School District 26, did not respond to an e-mail seeking comment, and Kutin did not answer the door at his home.

His wife drove into the garage at the home this week and, when asked about Saunders, initially responded, “I don’t know who that is.”

She returned moments later to recount allegations of misconduct by Saunders — none related to Kutin’s termination.

Asked about Kutin’s communication with Saunders and another Department of Education staffer, a DOE spokeswoman said it was a “police matter.”

Kutin made headlines last April when he was swept up with 21 other alleged pill-pushers after a three-year federal drug probe dubbed “Operation Lude Behavior.”

The feds found tens of thousands of Quaalude pills in a Brooklyn lab they said was part of the $3.5 million drug ring.
