Billy Ray take 2 on ‘View’

Billy Ray Cyrus is now ready to talk to “The View.”

Cyrus will appear on the morning gabfest next Friday, after canceling a scheduled Feb. 23 appearance in the wake of his controversial GQ interview — in which he said that daughter Miley Cyrus’ sitcom, Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana,” had “destroyed” his family by turning Miley into a superstar.

And it was Miley, 18, who reportedly pressured her father to pull out of his Feb. 23 “View” appearance, and to cancel an appearance that same morning on “Good Morning America” so he wouldn’t be quizzed about his comments.

Both “GMA” and “The View” are produced by ABC — which owns The Disney Channel.

(“Hannah Montana” ended its four-season run in January.)

Billy Ray, who co-starred on “Hannah” with Miley, told GQ that he was “scared” for his daughter, who’d been making tabloid headlines with some questionable behavior.

After canceling his “View” and “GMA” appearances, he told People, in a statement, “It is very important to me to work on mending my family right now.”

Considered it mended — at least for now.
