Misdemeanor assault trial set for Sean Penn’s supermodel ex

We’ll be seeing a lot more of Sean Penn’s gorgeous supermodel ex, Jessica White — on cable and on trial.

The Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret stunner is about to start filming an Oxygen Network reality show, and is heading to trial in Manhattan on May 17 to fight misdemeanor charges that she slugged another woman over a cab outside a club in October.

White’s three gal pals are set to testify that they were there, and it was the alleged victim — a car rental company clerk from Connecticut — who started the cat fight, said her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller. Surveillance video also backs his client’s account, the lawyer said.

“It clearly, 100-percent shows that she did absolutely nothing wrong,” Heller said today, after White rejected Manhattan prosecutors’ offer of two days community service and two days of anger management in return to pleading guilty to disorderly conduct.

“This woman threw herself at [White’s] group, and started pushing and fighting with them. It’s really horrifying that taxpayer money is really being wasted on this.”

“She’s a nasty, angry person,” the lawyer said of White’s alleged victim, Vanessa Kia, 28. “The video shows she was running after my client from behind. She recognized she was Jessica White, and was shouting, ‘You’re a celebrity. I’m going to take you down.'”
