Superman is sure to be enchanted.
The Man of Steel has finally landed a Lois Lane for his next movie — Amy Adams, the Oscar-nominated beauty from “The Fighter.”
“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Zack Snyder, who is directing the new “Superman” movie, told The Los Angeles Times.
“We did a lot of auditioning. But we had this meeting with Amy Adams, and after that, I just felt she was perfect for it.”
Adams, 36, will star opposite British actor Henry Cavill, of TV’s “The Tudors,” who’ll play Supe.
As nosy newspaper reporter Lane, Adams will be following in the footsteps of Margot Kidder and Kate Bosworth.
The film is set to come out in late 2012.
