Wade eyes Heat-ed playoff showdown with Knicks

Dwyane Wade was nowhere to be seen for the famous Jeff Van Gundy leg-lock on Alonzo Mourning in the 1998 playoffs, but the Heat’s All-Star guard knows the type of intensity — and history — that would be behind a Knicks-Heat matchup in the postseason.

The way the season is winding down, the Knicks and Heat could very well meet in the first round.

“No question,” Wade said yesterday in Newark, where the Heat beat the Nets.

“It’s probably as intense of a first-round [series] as you’re going to find . . . with the talent that New York has, the attention, the media attention, the excitement, the history.”

Wade also said no team except the Lakers faces more pressure than the Heat.
