Man wounded by cops after allegedly refusing to drop fake gun is hit with charges

The fake-gun-wielding man blasted by cops as he waved an all-too-real looking pellet gun in front of a Bronx nightclub has been charged.

Mamadou Balde, 20, was hit with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing for the early Friday stunt outside of the crowded Cocoa House hotspot in Highbridge.

Balde, who sources say is a wannabe Bloods gang member, was struck nine times in the legs, arms, groin and foot after three cops unloaded 18 shots at him. He’d ignored repeated warnings to drop the bogus firearm, triggering the cops’ rain of bullets, officials said.
