You’ll get back to this flack!

She’s a model flack.

Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer’s press secretary, Audrey Gelman, 23, is a political wonk by day and a budding star by night.

Gelman, a petite beauty and a key member of Stringer’s staff, is set to appear on the HBO comedy “Girls,” produced by Judd Apatow.

Earlier this year, she modeled in a short film for the lingerie line DKNY Intimates, shot by filmmaker and close pal Ry Russo Young.

But Gelman, who dropped out of Oberlin College in 2007 to work for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, said she doesn’t seek out acting and modeling gigs — when she ends up in front of the camera, it’s a favor to her artistic friends who love shooting her.

“Most of my friends are filmmakers, designers and musicians,” said Gelman, who lives in NoLIta. “There’s a collaborative spirit among people who grew up here, and it’s expected you pitch in.”

But the city’s youngest press secretary, whose boss is gearing up for a mayoral run in 2013, said she has no plans to leave politics behind.

“I’ve always wanted to work in city government,” said Gelman, who graduated from NYU last year with a degree in political science and earns $52,000 a year. “Government loses out on a huge pool of really talented, really creative people because there’s a belief that to work in politics, you have to be a suit. I will never be a suit.”

She’s made sure of that by inking five tattoos on her body — including one on the inside of her bottom lip that says “Lets Go Mets.”

Her boss lauds her for being able to hone his message and sell his story to the press.

“Let’s face it, she’s cool,” said Stringer. “She’s also whip smart, and she gets New York.”
