Jury shirker’s ‘Oprah’ excuse

Oprah could tip the scales . . . of justice.

A woman told a federal judge yesterday that she hopes her tickets to one of Oprah’s final episodes will excuse her from jury duty in the second corruption trial of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, according to Chicago radio station WBEZ.

A prosecutor on the case seemed to support her.

“It’s the last year [of Oprah’s show], Judge,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Reid Schar said.
