Bust in brutal SI elderly beating

Cops yesterday arrested the two thugs who beat and took a measly $18 from an elderly Staten Island couple earlier this year as the victims were closing their variety store, officials said.

The husband Joseph Naimo, 81, survived the attack, but his wife, Linda, 75, died about three weeks later.

They were assaulted outside their 3J’s store on Victory Boulevard in Tompkinsville on Jan. 23, by Antoine Means – who has at least 10 prior arrests including weapons and drug possession – and his accomplice Sharon Montgomery, cops said.

Means, 35, and Montgomery, 49, were charged with assault, robbery, and burglary.

A law-enforcement source said the charges could be upgraded to murder.
