Baby-faced belter Justin Bieber is ready to set the record straight — by taking a DNA test to prove he didn’t father a groupie’s kid.

Sources close to the pint-sized pop star insisted that new mom Mariah Yeater’s lawsuit has no merit, and said Bieber, 17, will take a DNA test in two weeks to resolve the baby-daddy matter once and for all.

“Justin is in Europe, but when he returns, he will take the paternity test,” a member of Team Bieber told The Post.

“His lawyers are making arrangements for him to take the test, which will be done in accordance with all legal requirements. I cannot say where or when the test will take place, but it will prove that Yeater’s claim is completely false.”

Last week, Yeater, 20, said that she took Bieber’s virginity in a bathroom after a LA concert and that she got pregnant as a result of the 30-second encounter.

The allegation, at the center of the suit by Yeater, which seeks child support for her now-4-month-old son, has threatened to upend the singer’s squeaky-clean image.

It has also sparked rumors that Bieber’s girlfriend, actress Selena Gomez, 19, was dumping him. But the couple showed up hand-in-hand when Gomez hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards last night.

Bieber has flatly denied ever even meeting Yeater — much less fathering her son, Tristyn, to whom she gave birth on July 6.

“None of the allegations are true,” the megastar said on NBC’s “Today” show. “It’s crazy that people want to make up such false allegations.”

After Bieber’s denial, The Post learned that at least 11 months before filing a paternity suit against Bieber, a pregnant Yeater told a former boyfriend that he, the ex, was the baby daddy.

But Yeater yesterday told Britain’s Daily Star that “there’s not a shred of doubt in my mind . . . Justin is definitely the father.”

She held the baby in her arms and said the resemblance between Tristyn and the pop star is plain for all to see.

“Look! Just look at his mouth. Look familiar?” she told the paper.

Yeater also told the television program “The Insider,” in an interview set to air today, that the fallout from her suit has been “very scary. [From] being not noticed at all to being the center? Yeah, that’s a lot.”

Meanwhile, Bieber’s lawyers plan to follow up the DNA test with a suit of their own.

“We intend to be very aggressive about this and make an example of [Yeater’s] lawyers,” the Bieber source said.

Yeater’s lawyers, Matt Pare and Lance Rogers, last night said, “We are encouraged that Justin Bieber will voluntarily take the paternity test.”

Bieber’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, did not return calls for comment. But a Bieber spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, said, “We are going to take every step to defend and protect Justin.”
