Big Jesse no longer a patriot

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Former Gov. Jesse Ventura is so upset by a judge’s ruling on an airport-security lawsuit that he filed against the federal government in January that he says he plans to apply for dual citizenship — so that he can spend more time in his beloved Mexico.

On Thursday, a district judge threw out the suit, which alleges that airport scans and patdowns amount to unreasonable search and seizure.

The judge found the suit should have been filed in appeals court.

Yesterday, Ventura stood outside the St. Paul federal courthouse with the crew of his “Conspiracy Theory” cable-TV show and said he had not decided whether to continue pressing the suit.

The former Navy SEAL sounded a lot more certain when he admitted that he feels he has lost his patriotism for the United States — and vowed that he’ll “never stand for the national anthem again.”
