Batman traded blows with his arch enemy Bane (left) on the streets of lower Manhattan yesterday while filming a violent fight scene for next summer’s blockbuster “The Dark Knight Rises.”
The action broke out near William and Wall streets, just blocks from the OWS encampment in Zuccotti Park.
The third Batman movie of the popular franchise reboot is directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Christian Bale, Matthew Modine (right) and Tom Hardy as Bane — an escaped convict with super powers. The movie will shoot downtown for the next two weeks.
