‘L&O’ no! Actress loses $1M to thieving accountant

There’s some real-life law and order for sexy “Law & Order: SVU” star Tamara Tunie — her ex-business manager admitted yesterday that he had stolen more than $1 million from her over the course of a decade.

Accountant Joseph Cilibrasi, of Chelsea, will have to serve at least 2 1/2 years in prison — and as much as 7 1/2 years — after he is sentenced on Jan. 4.

Cilibrasi also admitted pocketing $75,000 from Michael Stern, the conductor and musical director of the Kansas City Symphony and son of the late legendary violinist Isaac Stern.

Stern had hired Cilibrasi to do his taxes in 2007.

Prosecutor Peirce Moser said Cilibrasi stole from Tunie by opening a credit-card account in her name and writing himself checks from her bank accounts.

He used the money to invest in theatrical shows and movies, to fund his business and to take vacations, prosecutors said.

Cilibrasi pleaded guilty to first-degree grand larceny for stealing from Tunie, who had hired him as her business manager in the early 1990s.
