A shooting inside a Bronx emergency room this evening left two male staffers wounded, police sources told The Post.
The bloodshed began around 7 p.m. when a gunman entered the ER at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and fired at a male patient, the sources said.
“I heard three shots, three of them, ‘Pop Pop Pop,'” said Joi Cummings, who works as a nurses aide.
“It was just chaos, total chaos. People started running, everyone was running,” she said.
A 42-year-old security guard and a 37-year-old nurse were wounded.
Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
Cops took in at least four people for questioning.
