Hunt on for B’klyn ‘killers’ caught on tape

Dramatic video released by police shows a teen basketball player and his friends running for their lives, seconds before the athlete was fatally gunned down behind a Canarsie drugstore.

Cops are asking for the public’s help finding two thugs suspected of killing Shaquille Jones, 17, behind a RiteAid at 7812 Flatlands Ave., around 3:05 p.m. Friday.

Police said the hoods chased Jones and his two pals before one of the assailants pulled a gun and fired several shots. One bullet hit Jones in the head, killing him at the scene. Another round hit a16-year-old boy in the shoulder, while a third bullet hit a 19-year-old man in the leg.

All three victims attend the Brooklyn Theater Arts HS on Flatlands Avenue. Witnesses said the teens were laughing and joking minutes before they got into a deadly dispute.

The suspects are believed to be between 17 and 19 years old. Cops believe the shooter was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The other suspect was seen running in front of the shooter, wearing a red jacket and a red hat, police said.
