Madonna settles suit with neighbor who complained of noise

Madonna’s not causing a commotion on West 64th Street anymore.

A lawsuit charging the pop icon was expressing herself too loudly for upstairs neigbor Karen George has been settled, court records show.

George sued the Material Girl and the building’s coop board, charging that loud music and dancing from the singer’s apartment was driving her crazy, and the building hadn’t done enough to try to stop the problem.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Louis York gave the case the green light to go to trial back in September.

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Madonna moved out of the building earlier this year, and now lives in an East Side townhouse. Her rep, Liz Rosenberg, did not return an email for comment, but said earlier this year that while Madonna lived in the building “she was a beloved and excellent neighbor.”
