What an honest face!

Sporting Honest Abe’s trademark chin-strap beard, Daniel Day-Lewis is a dead ringer for the 16th president while dining out at a steakhouse in Richmond, Va.

The actor was taking a lunch break on Wednesday while shooting “Lincoln,” Steven Spielberg’s film about the life and times of the president.

Aside from the jeans and sneakers, Day-Lewis appears to have stepped right off the top of a penny.

But that’s where the similarity ends.

While Lincoln is known to have preferred chicken over steak, the typically press-shy Day-Lewis, 54, devoured a cornfed Braveheart filet mignon served with brussels sprouts and broccoli raab, according to the restaurant’s owner, John Van Peppen.

The restaurant, Arcadia, is a new steakhouse that specializes in the Black Angus beef cooked at 1,600 degrees in a 600-pound broiler.

While the actor was chowing down, a local, Michael Phillips, snapped a picture with his smartphone and posted it on Twitter.

The film also stars Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, John Hawkes, James Spader and Hal Holbrook.

It is due out next year.
