Delivery man shot by stray bullet in Brooklyn

An innocent delivery man was shot in the foot by a stray bullet during a Brooklyn shooting this afternoon that also fatally wounded a career criminal, authorities said.

The 40-year-old delivery man was near Ralph Avenue and Avenue A at 4:30 p.m. when the bullets started flying, police said.

Aljamain Walker, 18, who was around the corner when the shooting happened said he heard at least seven shots.

“A guy doing a delivery from the Chinese restaurant was hit in the foot by a stray bullet,” Walker said.

A 39-year-old man, whose name is pending family notification, was struck in the head, police said.

Both victims were rushed to Brookdale Hospital where the one man died and the delivery man was in stable condition, cops said.

No arrests have been made in this case and police are still investigating what sparked the violence.

Cops said the dead man had over 20 arrests, mostly for robbery and assault.
