Drug bust for dad of shot SI tot

The drug-dealing father of a 2-year-old Staten Island girl who lost an eye to gunfire in September was busted after cops found 66 small bags of crack and cocaine strapped to his genitals with a rubber band, law-enforcement sources said.

“I do what I have to [to] make money and survive,” Michael Bailey, 28, allegedly told cops.

Bailey is the father of Samyah Bailey, who lost her left eye after a gunman targeted her dad and uncle Sept. 14 as they sat in the courtyard of a Mariners Harbor apartment complex.

The 1998 Nissan Maxima that Bailey and Samyah’s mother, Stephanie Mahoney, 22, were in when they were stopped Saturday is the same vehicle that relatives had used to rush Samyah to a hospital.

Cops pulled over the parents for erratic driving, and they were taken to the 120th Precinct station house, the sources said.

While being patted down, cops allegedly noticed a bulge in Bailey’s pants.

They then found 55 bags of crack cocaine and 11 bags of coke stuffed in a large plastic bag, according to the sources.

Bailey, who served time in prison for attempted burglary, was charged with drug possession. Mahoney was freed.
