New ‘fat’ throne at Castle

A fat White Castle fan can now slide right into a seat at his favorite eatery.

Martin Kessman, 64, who sued the fast-food chain when it broke promises to renovate his local store with larger booths, has agreed to drop his claim after the company added free-standing chairs at the Nanuet, Rockland, store.

The 290-pound stockbroker was steamed when he purchased sliders but could then barely fit in a booth. He also smashed his knee on the stationary table’s metal supports.

His complaints about the tables got him nothing but lip service and coupons for free burgers.

His September Manhattan federal court suit didn’t earn him a penny, but it did prompt White Castle to replace a booth with a table and chairs not bolted to the floor.

“We’ve resolved it,” said spokesman Jamie Richardson. “We value him as a customer.”
