Celebs’ 2012 travel resolutions

If one of your resolutions for 2012 was to travel more, welcome to the club. Ours too. But where? Maybe take a cue from our panel of celebrity experts, to whom we popped the question — where are they headed over the next twelve months? A little bit of everywhere, as it turns out. Read on.

NICKI MINAJ

I definitely have to go back to the U.K. I see amazing people that give me a burst of life every time I go there. Every country in Africa. I want to just hit up the whole planet and then go to Mars and Venus!

GEORGE CLOONEY

I’ll be back in Africa. Also, Lake Como, one of the most beautiful places in the world.

BEAU BRIDGES

Hawaii, to see my home. I live in Kauai. (Tahiti Nui bar is the best!)

TODD ENGLISH

Turkbuku in Turkey, near Bodrum, one of my favorite places. The food is amazing. The vibe is good, super relaxing.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON

I’ll be going to Kenya to visit Dadaab, a large refugee camp.

STEPHEN BALDWIN

China: I’ve never been there, so I’m looking forward to seeing all that Beijing has to offer.

NICOLE “SNOOKI” POLIZZI

Chile — Santiago because I was born there. Ibiza, Spain because it’s beautiful!

TOM CRUISE

There’s so many places in the world I haven’t seen yet. I can’t wait to go.

QUEEN LATIFAH

Australia. Fiji, but I might have to save that — my mom wants to go, too.

JENNIFER MORRISON

Friends of mine live on Powers Lake in Wisconsin, and it is the most beautiful, quaint, lovely place to go. It’s all families, and whenever I need that rejuvenation and that little moment to just get my head back together and get back on track, the only place I want to go is Powers Lake.

RAY KELLY

Bali. It’s peaceful, very peaceful.

DAVID BLAINE

Italy, one of my favorite places in the world: Florence; Rome; Orvieto for San Crispino gelato.

ALEXANDER PAYNE

Lincoln, Nebraska!

ANIK KAPOOR

Rome. I love the city. I love the architecture. I love the food. I love everything about it.

DONATELLA ARPAIA

Scotland. My husband is Scottish and wants to take me there. He’s been showing me pictures of green pastures, castles and the people!

RUSSELL BRAND

Anywhere. Everywhere is fine!

NACHO FIGUERAS

Looking forward to India — I’m planning a polo event there.

ROBERT FORSTER

Those Down-Under countries are real nice. Would like to go to Australia and New Zealand again. Driving on the wrong side of the road is always a thrill. You say to yourself, ‘Am I gonna make it?!’

ALAN THICKE

Cabo. Got married there and we haven’t had a chance to get back there.
