A 29-year-old Brooklyn mother attacked a three-year-old daughter early today, stabbing her in the jaw and head, authorities said.
The stabber is believed to be the toddler’s emotionally-disturbed mother, who allegedly attacked the child at about 4 a.m. in Bedford-Stuy.
The child was taken to Woodhull Hospital in cardiac arrest, where she died a short time later.
“Blood was everywhere. The baby had puncture wounds to her neck and face,” a police official told The Post. “She was also strangled. This mother is nuts.”
A police source said the woman thought “demons had gotten her and God wasn’t there to help.”
The woman remains in police custody at Woodhull Hospital. Charges against her are pending.
